Having to confront ourselves with the necessity to learn as adults, almost starting from zero, many of the knowledges at the core of the food we eat everyday, we reflected a lot on the education we had growing up, on what we learned and what we did not. And we realised how many of the things we deem important were not part of our education.
It’s for this reason that we decided to develop as organization a framework of environmental education dedicated to schools. Through practical workshops and guided experiences, kids can confront themselves with topics fundamental for the world we live in and the world they will live. In a context of informal education, in the inner and outer space surrounding Casa Rosa we create thus a space to reflect actively on ecology, on nature, and on the food we eat.
